Hi, I'm a Web Application Developer 3 years ago, I began developed static HTML page and when the Web progress I began to design & construct web application with Active Server Page from Microsoft based in Internet Information Server Application. In this early days of the Web, I used Visual Basic to developed sever component, but when Java appear in the scene I considered that is more robust solution for the Server Programming. DISTANCE WORK My work time is 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with 1 hour for lunch (8 hours). I resume my work,  weekly or monthly. • 1995 - Implemented a Banking System using Foxpro 2.5b. Team Member.
• 1996 - Implemented a Multimedia Computer Based Trainning (CBT). Based on Multimedia Toolbook 4.0. Project Leader and Principal Designer and Programmer.
• 1997 - First release of the CBT (Course for Businessman & Enterpriser). More than 250 copies release for testing.
• 1998 - Second edition of the CBT (Course for Business Man & Enterpriser). More than 10000 copies release to the end users. Became a Best-Seller CBT.
• 1998 - Release of a Financial & Economy Dictionary with more than 5000 term. Based on .HLP format.
• 1999 - Create the Event Memory for CEMLA (Central Bank of Latinamerica) meeting on Havana. Release to end user when the event ended. Based on HTML 3.2. My role was Page Designer & Project Leader.
• 1999 - Other small HTML 3.2 web site (static) for Intranet use.
• 2000 - Design of a Web Application for securities auction, especifically bill of exchange and  bill of debt (SEDEC).
• 2000 - Implementation of SEDEC based on Visual Basic IIS Application with Microsoft Active Server Page (ASP). My role was Project Management & Senior Developer.
• 2000 - Implementation of Demo version (only Front-End) of Hotel Reserve System using Visual Basic 6.0 & ASP.
• 2001 - Beginning the study of Java language and other Web Application technologies related with this language (JSP, Servlet, Javabeans) and other as XML, Javascript, CSS 1-2, JDBC and so on.
• 2001- Develop of XML editor based on pure Java with Swing as UI (only partial implementation).

• 2001- Implemented a RFC 2445 (iCalendar protocol). Full implementation on Java. Design & programming. 
• 2001- Design of a Web Based Calendar System.
• 2001_Today - Finish the Front-End for the Calendar System.

Architecture overview of Web Based Calendar:

• Based on Java 100% using Servlet & JSP.
• Use Struts as a MVC model II for the application logic.
• Use log4j API from Apache for logging features.
• Use JDBC for Database Access using Type 3 JDBC Driver for compatibility with major RDBMS vendors as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, Sybase, IBM DB2, Informix, MySQL and so on.
• Based on HTML and CSS 1 for formatting.
• Use my RFC 2445 implementation that let the user to export his appoitment information to iCalendar protocol format (.ics) & XML format.

Others:

• The final release contain an a copy of Apache Tomcat 4.x as a JSP/Servlet Server.
• Contain too, the Hypersonic Database for use on small team less than 50. We recommend that. For high performance we recommended Oracle.
